Our Program

Better Than Books Preschool serves children from three-to-six years of age.
We offer half-day experiences, four days a week.

Literature

Classic children’s books provide the basis for our unique curriculum, meeting preschool and kindergarten standards for all core subjects.

Adventure

Local walking field trips are informative, educational, and a fun way to explore our community.

Early Literacy

Skill development – in vocabulary, self-expression, understanding and subsequently print concepts, phonological awareness, and knowledge of letter names and sounds – cultivates proficient, happy readers.

Arts

Daily music, dance, and visual art sessions activate creative expression and increase gross and fine motor skills.

Physical Education

Balance and coordination are easier in the context of cooperation and teamwork.

Cooking

Math, science, nutrition, etiquette, and hygiene can be both fun and delicious.
