Physical Education

Balance and coordination are easier in the context of cooperation and teamwork. Children will participate in a variety of physical activities in both indoor and outdoor environments. 

Activities May Include:

  • structured and unstructured play 
  • toss or catch a ball
  • indoor obstacle course
  • ring toss
  • the floor is lava 
  • duck, duck, goose
  • musical chairs
  • freeze dance 
  • riding a tricycle or scooter

Research shows that playtime promotes the development of motor skills, bone strength, social skills, and memory and concentration!
